Design-Tech Patternmaking specialises in creating original patterns working from sketches, photos, garments and measurement specifications. We can assist clients to formulate designs into well-fitting and workable finished patterns with advice on fabrication and construction techniques.

Patterns can be developed using Australian standard sizing or made-to-measure specs. A calico toile can be provided for initial fitting and design assessment. Patterns are delivered manually on standard pattern paper or digitally via print-out or computer file.

Production ready patterns can be manually graded using standard pattern paper for a full size set of hard-copy patterns or digitised and computer graded. Grading rules developed to suit requirements, e.g. large sizes, children and infants and multiple size fitting.

Sample fitting and assessment for toiles and final samples. Limited sample making by arrangement.

Specification documents for garment measurements, accessories and assembly instructions.
